This is an artificial collection created by the Georgia Historical Society by compiling photographs, some from other manuscript collections, into a single collection. It is unknown when this collection was created, but most of the materials were processed during the 1980s. The photographs are arranged into 23 series by subject matter, which are denoted by a two-letter code. An index of personal names follows this finding aid. This collection includes negatives, which are restricted from patron use. The boxes of unprocessed negatives also include negatives from MS 1361-PR.
